Little Magpie (Jewellery Haul)

I am such a collector and hoarder of all things accessories! Jewellery (and handbags) being a big weakness of mine!

I own a few key pieces of 'special' jewellery that are worn at events and special occasions! But other than that I collect a lot of pieces from high street shops; Forever21, River Island and Topshop being my favourite destinations for cheap, cheerful and on trend accessories!

New MAC Lippies

Hello lovelies! Hope your all having a fab weekend?!

I'm home a week from my fantastic holiday to Orlando, Florida! Sad to be back but I'm having loads of fun experimenting different looks using all of the cosmetics I bought while I was there!

I wanted to share with you three MAC lipsticks I purchased in America that I absolutely adore! I literally had to drag myself away from the MAC store because they were such a bargain compared to buying them in Ireland / the UK I was afraid I'd buy the lot!

My favourite out of the three has to be "Up The Amp" it immediately caught my eye from the lipstick stand, the colour is so unusual and unlike any lip colour I own already.

"Girl About Town" is fabulous, I know a lot of people who wear it and swear by it, so I decided to pick it up for myself.

My least favourite to my surprise is "Crème d'Nude", the only reason being that is it's far to close to my natural skin colour and when I have it on it looks as if I have no lips!!! However in saying that it does look lovely with heavy lip liner outlining the lips or with a lipgloss overlay but unfortunatly I wouldn't wear it on its own.

Wedding Fever - The Perfect Summer Wedding Dress

As soon as summer hits and the weather picks up, you know it's wedding season! That calls for a new outfit, new accessories, new hair, new nails, the whole lot!

Searching for the perfect summer wedding dress can be a daunting experience if your as picky as I am: is it suitable, too short, too long, etc... But look no further Chi Chi Clothing has the perfect dress for everyone. With various styles, colours and lengths to suit any wedding or event!

I love Chi Chi Clothing, they are so on trend delivering quality occasion wear that's easy on the pocket! I was lucky enough to be sent this gorgeous dress to style.

So here I have created two summer wedding looks. My first look is for the casual wedding using modern accessories to keep the look contemporary. My second look is a more formal, classic look pairing the dress with a vintage clutch and gloves, throwing on a fur shrug or even a shawl to cover the shoulders when it gets chilly.

So...?

Feels like I've been transported back in time! This 90's favourite is making a big comeback with more and more fabulous new fragrances available, there's a scent to suit everybody! I was lucky enough to be sent some products by So...? to review. 

 

 

 

So...? Fragrances Eau De Toilette 30ml / €6.95 , 50ml / €9.95 , Body Fragrance 75ml / €1.99

Available from Penneys, Superdrug and selected Pharmacies

The So..? original fragrance has to be my favourite! The scent is so fresh and delicate, with notes of orange flower, rose, jasmine, vanilla and sandlewood. It's so girly yet not overwhelming, it's perfect for everyday wear!

So...? Sexy is one of the newest So..? fragrances available. The packaging designs are fab, I love the fishnet design on So...? Sexy. The scent is similar to the original So...? fragrance with notes of mandarin, rose, jasmine, sandlewood and musk but with a flirtier fruitier edge. Perfect for everyday or evening wear!

Even though these fragrances are Eau de Toilette the scent lasts for ages and is released beautifully from the skin throughout the day! 

However as for the body fragrances, I'm not a fan of body fragrance (I even try to avoid scented deodorants). I think they end up smelling very overpowering, very chemical and stale. I highly recommend spending the extra few quid for an Eau de Toilette which will smell much better and last much longer. 

Those of you who know me know I love my luxury fragrances! But after trying the So..? Fragrances again after all these years made me remember that you don't have to fork over big bucks to smell fabulous! These purse friendly, stylish fragrances are the perfect everyday scent and they even fit in your handbag! What more could you want!

I'm madly in love with my new summer sandals from River Island!

I suffer from weak knees and find it very painful to stay in heels for long periods of time! But the front platform, the chunky heel and the cushioned sole make these shoes incredibly comfy! So comfy in fact that I can wear them all day and all night long pain free and without moaning! 

They look fab for summer BBQs or nights out on the town with pretty sun dresses and tan leather accessories to match (a belt or a clutch bag). 

I know that these will be my go to shoe for summer nights! Plus they come in loads of different colours including metallic gold, pastel pink and white! Oooo tempting!

The Boho Kimono

I bought this fantastic kimono in H&M on Saturday while shopping in town. The colours are so beautiful and the quality is fab. I was so shocked when I saw the price tag - only €12.95! Bargain!

Its so flattering on and super easy to style. I love it over jeans for a casual spring look but as it comes into the summer music festival season I'd wear it with frayed denim shorts and a floral head band (eek so cute)! 

Get it quick, it's selling out fast!
