'Undress Me Too' With MUA (Mini Makeup Haul)

I was in Superdrug recently and saw they had a 3 for 2 offer across all MUA products! I love 3 for 2 offers and this brand is so purse friendly that I figured it would be rude not to avail of this fab offer!!!
Here's what I picked up:

Mosaic Bronzer / MUA / €3.50
I picked this bronzer up in the colour 'Natural Glow' (shade 1). This was the cheapest of the three products so, with the 3 for 2 offer, I practically got it for free! I love it, the colour isn't overpowering and it has a lovely rosy tint to it which looks great worn both above and below the cheekbones! However, it's definitely not the best bronzer I've used but I would reccomend it for a cheap, cheerful and natural everyday bronzer.
Pro-Base Fixing Mist / MUA / €6.00
I have never tried anything like this product before, honestly, due to the fact that I find them quite gimmicky! All you have to do is spray it over your finished makeup and it's meant to seal in your look all day long! I have used it but I can't say I noticed any dramatic difference to the longevity of my makeup.
I like the idea of it, but, does it work... The jury is still out on this one!

'Undress Me Too' Eyeshadow Palette / MUA / €5.00
The colours in this palette are so beautiful. It is essentially a nude palette, but the gorgeous bronze shimmers can take you from daytime to nighttime in one easy swoop! To my surprise the quality of the individual eyeshadows are fantastic, they apply easily and stay on all day/night!

Here I created a simple daytime nude look by placing the lighter glitter bronze at the tear duct and worked outwards using a gradient of darker colours. A sweep of black liner and you're ready for a night on the town!

My favourite product is definitely the 'Undress Me Too' eyeshadow palette, and it's only a fiver!

Have you used these products?
I'd love to hear your feedback!
Thanks for reading,

New MAC Lippies

Hello lovelies! Hope your all having a fab weekend?!

I'm home a week from my fantastic holiday to Orlando, Florida! Sad to be back but I'm having loads of fun experimenting different looks using all of the cosmetics I bought while I was there!

I wanted to share with you three MAC lipsticks I purchased in America that I absolutely adore! I literally had to drag myself away from the MAC store because they were such a bargain compared to buying them in Ireland / the UK I was afraid I'd buy the lot!

Left to right: Up The Amp / Crème d'Nude / Girl About Town

My favourite out of the three has to be "Up The Amp" it immediately caught my eye from the lipstick stand, the colour is so unusual and unlike any lip colour I own already.
"Girl About Town" is fabulous, I know a lot of people who wear it and swear by it, so I decided to pick it up for myself.
My least favourite to my surprise is "Crème d'Nude", the only reason being that is it's far to close to my natural skin colour and when I have it on it looks as if I have no lips!!! However in saying that it does look lovely with heavy lip liner outlining the lips or with a lipgloss overlay but unfortunatly I wouldn't wear it on its own.

Hope you enjoyed my little lippie post,

Have a great day,

Payot Paris Masque D'Tox

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Payot's Masque D'Tox literally does exactly what it says on the tin 'detoxifying radiance mask'. I haven't been this excited about a product in a long time!

After cleansing the skin apply this sweet smelling smooth pink cream generously all over the face (avoiding eye contours). After time it begins to harden into a mask, leave it on for up to ten minutes and wash it off. The results are noticeable straight away: skin is dewy, less fatigued, more youthful, hydrated, radiant and super soft!

Suitable for combination skin types it can be used once or twice a week or whenever your skin needs a beauty boost! However I would promote this product as a 'quick fix' beauty booster, yes I found the results incredible but I didn't find them long lasting. I would use this product every weekend before a night out for gorgeous glowing skin!

The science! What does it contain:
  • Extracts of grapefruit : Astringents and hydrating agents.
Bioecolia : Regulates and restores balance to skin flora.
Extract of Smithsonite : Protects the cells and combats stress.
Allantoin : Hydrates and reduces irritation.
Kaolin : Absorbs and eliminates impurities, cleanses the skin.
Malachite extracts : Purifies, drains and promotes the elimination of toxins.
Available from many pharmacies and beauty salons across the world find your nearest salon here. RRP €25.

Hope your all having a great weekend!

Care For Hair

Here's a few hair care products of mine that I absolutely love!

Shampoo / €7.69 , Conditioner / €7.49

When washing my hair I do a double wash with shampoo and always soak the ends in conditioner to make it silky and easier to manage. I would always use matching shampoo & conditioner sets. I like to swap and change my shampoo and conditioning products after they run out because I feel it keeps my hair looking super fresh plus I go for the best deals in store on the day. I usually stick to coloured enhancing or volumizing shampoos. The John Frieda range for blonde hair is one of my favourites.

L'Oréal Silver Shampoo / €11.50

I have been recommended this product countless times in Peter Mark over the years. As I have complained about my hair turning a brassy yellow between dying. If you suffer with this problem then this is the answer! It's a colour reviving shampoo for grey and white hair. It lifts the brassy yellow tones from blonde hair to revive your colour to its salon perfect white blonde. To be honest it didn't completely change my hair but definitely made it look more healthy and fresher. I would only use this once every 2-3 weeks when my hair needs a boost so it lasts for ages!!!

BLEACH London Hair Mask / €7.99

This is one of the best hair masks I have come across! I am such a penny pincher when it comes to masks as I rarely suffer from dry hair so I find it hard to spend massive money on a product that I don't necessarily need. I have used Percy&Reed and Aussie hair masks before. But picked this up during a 3 for 2 offer in Boots and I fell in love with it. The fragrance is gorgeous, it leaves hair silky, untangled, frizz free and nourished without leaving any residue at the root. I use this once every 1-2 weeks and it makes such a noticeable difference to my hair!

TRESemmé Serum / €8.99

Whatever type of hair you have you need this product. It is a miracle worker. This argan oil infused hair serum can be used pre or post styling (personally I use it post styling). It tames hair, perfects flyaways, frizz, gives hair a healthy shine and finishes your look. You only need a pump or two depending on the length of your hair so it lasts for ages. I use this after I style my hair as a finishing product, its perfect!

BLEACH London Dye / €6.69 (each)

A few months ago I heard a lot of hype surrounding Bleach London's new hair product range so I decided to try it out for myself. I bought these wash out semi-permanent hair dyes, which looked like pastel pink and pastel blue on the back of the bottle. They're so quick and simple to use and the results are fabulous. However, the pink washes out very quickly and the blue is not pastel it is a dark blue and it doesn't wash out but fades to a greenish-blue. Which I like but a lot of people would hate. Although I would still recommend this as they are by far the best wash out dyes I have come across.

Superdrug Dry Shampoo / €1.70

I am a worshiper of Batiste dry shampoo (used in between washes). I was in Superdrug recently picking up a few things and noticed they were sold out of Batiste following an offer they had running. I find Batiste in local pharmacies far too expensive, so I went for the only other option available which was Superdrugs own branded dry shampoo. I have to say I was plesently surprised by it! Tt really volumises hair (a lot better than Batiste), it smells gorgeous and keeps hair looking fresh all day long. Due to its price I think I will be using this in future.

What I'm buying next for reviewing:
Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray

L'Oréal Heat Protect Volume Styling Spray

Hope you enjoyed my mini hair care product reviews.
Have a great week!

Beauty Buzz

Lately I've seen and heard so much buzz surrounding Garnier's newest beauty product, 5 second perfect blur, so I decided to pick it up and try it out for myself.

Primer is a beauty product I have sadly neglected over the years always buying different brands, using them for a week and then finding them in the back of my makeup drawer a year later! I know this primer won't suffer the same fate as those gone before it. I've been using it for two weeks now and can honestly say I'm hooked!

Firstly I was delighted by the competitive price point of the product at around €16-€17 as I find it hard to spend top dolla' on products I might not use. Applied after your daily moisturizer, the pink velvety cream inside glides effortlessly onto the face reducing the appearance of pores, blemishes (to an extent), shine and even wrinkles. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better it works as a fantastic base for foundation apply this in the morning and it will lock foundation in place from day to night with no formation of cracks or blotches in your makeup. I usually apply a sweep of powder over the primer/foundation to set it.

I can see myself using every drop of this product and purchasing it again and again. I think it should be a staple in every girls makeup bag.

Check out my mini review on it in the latest copy of U magazine out now.

If any of you guys are using this primer I would love to hear your reviews!

As always I hope you all have a great week!
