Payot Paris Masque D'Tox

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Payot's Masque D'Tox literally does exactly what it says on the tin 'detoxifying radiance mask'. I haven't been this excited about a product in a long time!

After cleansing the skin apply this sweet smelling smooth pink cream generously all over the face (avoiding eye contours). After time it begins to harden into a mask, leave it on for up to ten minutes and wash it off. The results are noticeable straight away: skin is dewy, less fatigued, more youthful, hydrated, radiant and super soft!

Suitable for combination skin types it can be used once or twice a week or whenever your skin needs a beauty boost! However I would promote this product as a 'quick fix' beauty booster, yes I found the results incredible but I didn't find them long lasting. I would use this product every weekend before a night out for gorgeous glowing skin!

The science! What does it contain:
  • Extracts of grapefruit : Astringents and hydrating agents.
Bioecolia : Regulates and restores balance to skin flora.
Extract of Smithsonite : Protects the cells and combats stress.
Allantoin : Hydrates and reduces irritation.
Kaolin : Absorbs and eliminates impurities, cleanses the skin.
Malachite extracts : Purifies, drains and promotes the elimination of toxins.
Available from many pharmacies and beauty salons across the world find your nearest salon here. RRP €25.

Hope your all having a great weekend!

I Want To Ride My Bicycle

Photo: Sarah Orr (sarahorrphotography.ie)
Coat / ASOS , Fedora / H&M , Brogues / M&S
Laces / American Apparel , Skirt / New Look
Bicycle / Dawes Duchess

I love this photo taken by Sarah Orr for U Magazine a few months ago. I totally forgot about writing a post about it until now!

I had just bought this bike and really wanted it to be in the shot because I became so obsessed with it. It's made by Dawes and is suitably named the 'Dawes Duchess'. We are always looking for new ways to keep fit and cycling a bike rather than driving to your destination is a fun way of doing just that! Since I've bought it I have seen so many girls cycle around on them wearing the cutest outfits! The low crossbar mean there's no hassle getting onto the bike in a skirt and the wide handlebars allow you to sit up straight while cycling. However the bike is a city bike which means it's a lot heavier than hybrid/racer/mountain bikes and does not suit rough or mountain terrain. Not a bike for the cycle fanatics but for the cycle fashionistas and believe you me it does keep you fit!

Have a great weekend!

Geek Chic

Coat / River Island , Scarf / Parfois , Bag / Mulberry
Boots / ASOS , False Glasses / Jeepers Peepers @ ASOS
Watch / Michael Kors , Assortment of Rings / Penneys H&M Topshop

I wore this outfit on Saturday heading out shopping and for dinner. It was quite cold and rainy out, this outfit kept me warm and is super comfy for running around the shops but yet is stylish enough to wear out for a meal afterwards! I was so disappointed coming back to the awful Irish weather after being away in the sun all week!

I love my new scarf from Parfois that I got in Portugal last week. The print is so amazing and the quality is fantastic. It was such a bargin at only a tenner!!!

I bought the fake specks a month ago from Jeepers Peepers on ASOS. I know a lot of people aren't fans of these glasses but I think they are fab! They are so funky and add a totally different look to an outfit!

Hope you all like my outfit!
Have a great week!

Laura Loves...

Viktor & Rolf BonBon

I was searching for a new scent for ages! Every time I would go in to buy one I'd end up spraying loads of different perfumes, forgetting which ones I liked, getting a headache, getting frustrated and leaving!

Walking through Dundrum one day I smelt the most amazing sweet fruity fragrance wafting from BT2! I went in to discover the smell was the new scent by Viktor & Rolf appropriately named 'Bon Bon'! I have been a major fan of Viktor & Rolf for years and this new scent didn't disappoint.

I know €85 for 50ml is a tad on the pricey side but the scent is so luxurious and well worth it! The packaging is so pretty, the little glass bow is so girly and has become an ornament on my dressing table!

The scent launched in Ireland exclusive to Brown Thomas and BT2 I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to purchase it on it's launch date and was given a complimentary perfume sample and a mini shower gel and body cream!

If your looking for a new perfume and you like sweet and fruity scents Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon is the one for you. It definitely gets the 'Laura Loves' seal of approval!

Have a great week!

Shoe Unboxing With River Island

I'm so in love with these gladiator sandals from River Island. As soon as I saw them in the window I had to run in to buy them!!!
I couldn't believe the price they are so reasonable at €56.
They look great on their own or worn with frilly socks. I'm going to pair them with a cute skater dress or skinny jeans! Perfect for warm spring/summer days.

They are available in River Island stores now but are selling out fast I bought the last size 5 when I was there!

Available in gold and silver I want them in every colour!
Also available on the River Island website *Click Here* and on ASOS *Click Here*

Hope you all have a great week!

Do These Things Work?

Boots Tea Tree Witch Hazel Nose Pore Strips
Yes we can read the box but what do these things actually do and more importantly do they work?

I came across these nose pore strips a few years ago in Boots while searching for a face exfoliant. At approx €6.50 I picked up a pack to try (out of curiosity) and I have been repurchasing them religiously ever since!

Inside the pack is 6 individually wrapped strips, which is great because they stay fresh after the pack is opened. The strips are super easy to use and the directions are so simple,

1. Clean your face of any products
2. Dampen nose with water
3. Apply strip and allow to dry
4. Remove after 10 mins

As the strip dries on your damp nose it hardens. When it hardens it tightens pores and grips onto any blackheads or dirt on your nose. The strip tingles your nose as it dries and can sometimes become very irritating as u can't scratch your nose while it's on!

Pulling the strip off is relatively pain free, and so worth it when you see blackheads/dirt remain on the strip.

What do I think ?
This product doesn't perform to my expectations, whenever I have a noticeable blackhead on my nose the strips can never seem to clear it, they only remove very small unnoticeable blackheads or dirt. However in saying this it does prevent these small impurities from clogging up pores and causing spots. As well as this pores do appear tighter and skin is less oily after use. At over €1 every time you use a strip I don't think the value for money is very good but I would still recommend them as I have yet to find a better, cheaper competitor!

Here's a few ridiculous pictures of me using the strips!

If you have used this product I would love to hear your feedback!

Hope you all have a great week,
