Geek Chic

Coat / River Island , Scarf / Parfois , Bag / Mulberry
Boots / ASOS , False Glasses / Jeepers Peepers @ ASOS
Watch / Michael Kors , Assortment of Rings / Penneys H&M Topshop

I wore this outfit on Saturday heading out shopping and for dinner. It was quite cold and rainy out, this outfit kept me warm and is super comfy for running around the shops but yet is stylish enough to wear out for a meal afterwards! I was so disappointed coming back to the awful Irish weather after being away in the sun all week!

I love my new scarf from Parfois that I got in Portugal last week. The print is so amazing and the quality is fantastic. It was such a bargin at only a tenner!!!

I bought the fake specks a month ago from Jeepers Peepers on ASOS. I know a lot of people aren't fans of these glasses but I think they are fab! They are so funky and add a totally different look to an outfit!

Hope you all like my outfit!
Have a great week!

Hi guys hope you all had a great Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Sorry I have been MIA recently. It has been such a hectic two weeks! But don't worry I have plenty of great new ideas to put on my blog for 2014!

This weekend myself and the boyfriend decided to have a little one night escape to Castleknock Hotel. It's a four star hotel which we found a great deal for on Trivago.com. We arrived down and headed straight to the leisure centre where we relaxed in the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna (HEAVEN), we had dinner that night and a few drinks in the hotel. It was such a nice relax after the absolute mayhem and overindulgence of Christmas!

This is an outfit I wore the day of departure. I got this dress from ASOS , it actually comes up quite big fitting and I could have sized down but it's perfect with a belt. It's such a soft rich jersey material which I was afraid would shrink in the wash but it hasn't lost it's shape at all yet. I love the cross over back detail on the dress. I think backless dresses (casual & dressy) are so flattering and can be quite sexy if worn tastefully.

The dark floral print is super on trend this winter. I love how all the colours go so well together. This is outfit can take you from shopping, to cinema, to casual drinks and dinner. It's super comfy and super flattering for any shape and size!

Hope you all like this look,
(Sorry about the iPad camera photo quality)

90's Tartan Grunge

Dress / Penneys (Primark), Creepers / Korkys (HERE)
Over the Knee Socks / M&S, Watch / Guess
Velvet Headband / D.I.Y, Handbag / Mulberry (HERE)
Leather Biker / Topshop

For my latest outfit blog post I've coupled this seasons 90s punk rock grunge and tartan trends together for a fantastic AW 13/14 fashion fusion.

I'm a massive fan of tartan and check prints so I'm delighted they've returned to our rails this season. This trend can be found at designer fashion houses such as Burberry, Celine and Chanel and on the walls of our beloved high street retailers (Topshop, Penneys and River Island). This is a look that will be super popular this season.

I spotted this dress while shopping in the Dundrum Town Centre today thoughts of grunge, punk rock and teen angst sprung to mind! The fit is very slimming; the A-line shape just skims the hips and the material feels thick, luxurious and above all comfortable (a mix of mainly cotton and polyester).

At €17 it had to be snapped up for my collection! It's a very affordable way to follow the fashion trend without breaking the bank!

Those who know me well will tell you that I'd never wear an outfit like this out and about for fear of looking like a Japanese Anime character. So I'm going to pare it back a little for the cold weather by wearing thick black tights and a black wooly beanie.

Hope you all enjoyed my latest look!

Hey guys hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

I wore this on Sunday for meeting a friend in town. Had to go to Brown Thomas to get new MAC make up, to my disgust I'm loosing my suntan already and had to go back to a paler foundation so I picked up StudioFix foundation in NC20 and LightPlus mineral powder. The girls in MAC are so helpful I love going in there. I also picked up a gorgeous kimono in SOHO in Stephens Green shopping centre. Which I might show you guys in an ootd soon.

We went for a few cocktails  in Pygmalion on South William Street I would usually go here for Sunday drinks. €5 in and 40% off drinks, along with great music, friendly staff and generous helpings of spirits you really can't go wrong! Ended the evening with a Rays pizza slice! YUM!
